Thank you ladies for all your sharing :) ! So much thoughts and insights into being a wholesome mum. Being a mum is like an all rounder, we are everywhere, and Balance is definitely important. I will find time for myself like going for a swim twice per week, slot in time for my mini projects doing things which i like, at the same time looking over 2 kids and a no. 3 coming next month. I live in Singapore and this is a bustling city. I have no helper staying with me, so very much always working things out with my husband. Education is very much in focus here, so much time during the weekdays are spend on school works with kids. Sometimes i do engage home cleaners to help out on the cleaning part. It’s very much about what priorities we have in Life and live on that. We will certainly be happier once that’s met isn’t it? :) I’m glad i chose to be a SAHM, so i have the energy to oversee more things that are in my concern like health, nutrition, moral and academic growth in my kids. Since we brought them here, i think i have to do a good job to build them! Thanks again :)

You are very welcome! Glad to hear that the videos inspired some thought about making time for what you enjoy doing!! I hear you about working things out with your husband….sometimes it feels like a relay race between each parent getting personal space in for themselves, while at the same time making sure the children’s needs are met. I am thinking someone to come and wash my floors and dust once a week would be lovely, so that I can channel more energy into cooking and less into cleaning! I never had a nanny or helper either, but have done quite a bit of playdates and childcare which has given me some breathing room, while the kids freeplay and get their social needs met at the same time!

Thank you for these great tidbits of knowledge. I like that you two face each other and us, as if we’re in a conversation. And I agree with so much of what you say and how to use our natural rhythms instead of fighting with a ‘schedule’ as a mom. I love it and feel a strong connection to you both. I also loved the return to natural foods-I’ve been doing it with great success and enjoying it all. Our 1 year old loves the coconut water kefir and ginger beer we’ve been making. And finally, thanks for bringing up the need for healthy fats! Hugs!

You are very welcome!! It totally warmed our hearts to hear you say that you feel a strong connection with us, we feel you too! Your 1 year old is soooo lucky to have a mama making such wonderful probiotic drinks!! It is essential to start them on the sour flavour when they are young for a lifetime love of cultured foods! Stay in touch!!!

WoW the two of you have such beautiful warm nurturing and inspiring energy! I am not married, nor have children. Your subject matter is as relevant to me as it is to busy moms, just slightly different ;) Women like you, who have taken back the power of domestic arts and lost traditions really inspire me. Just simply feeling your vibe makes me feel more empowered as a woman that if I so choose to have a family, I could create quite a different life from my childhood. God bless!

Thank you sooo much for sharing that this work is relevant to you!! While Adrienne and I mostly speak as mothers, we also hold this space as a place for all women to share their wisdom and experience. It totally “blisses me out” to hear you say that it empowers you and that these words have called you into a higher vision of yourself potentially as a mother someday, that is exactly what we do this work for!

I finally took a few moments to watch these videos and my heart is so warmed by you two and what you are doing/offering/creating. Such a delightful combination of important philosophies and ways. I had thought this might be a bunch of trite in-denial-ey be-a-perfect-mother stuff and am so happy to be wrong and to have found true gems, wisdom sharing, and truth telling here in this little corner of the internet. Can’t wait for more!!!

    • Sherry
